Join us on a trip to Egypt! It’s great history made it one of the greatest civilizations of the ancient world, where the pyramids are one of the wonders of the world remaining to this day. But amidst all this beauty, people struggle to survive. We will visit people in the garbage city in Cairo and Sudanese refugees who fled the war to Egypt.
We will also travel to the Minya Governorate villages of Saft al-Laban, Taha, and Ezbet Rafael. You will experience the GHNI Transformational Community Development (TCD) program firsthand. We will meet with community leaders and villagers about the impact of TCD on improved health, education, and economics. You will witness various business owners generating income from microloans. We will distribute gifts to the villagers to encourage the continued improvement of TCD in their lives.
