Seada is an active member of our Transformational Community Development (TCD) Income Generation and Agricultural Groups. She has five children. Sadly, her husband died five years ago. After he died, life was very hard for her and the children, too.

Babalola and his Transformational Community Development (TCD) team members live in Maroua and commute to Ngassa Village for TCD activities. This will go on until they are able to put up a dwelling house on the parcel of land they have in the village and then move into the village.



Bringing Wellness to All

We had a medical convoy in Helwan Village. We had checkups for some ladies who had infections in their legs. Four of the ladies had eye infections because of hygiene issues so we also gave them medicine for the infections and some painkillers.


TCD Takes Root and Spreads

This month we held trainings for the committee and new Transformational Community Development (TCD) volunteers in Adendan Village. We spent time planning for the start of the Children Development Program in the east part of the village. We divided the village into nine areas and discussed Hepatitis C analysis for 2,000 cases in Adendan.

Healthier Practices in Rainy Season

KB Village, Burkina Faso


KB Village experiences the perennial challenge of flooding every rainy season. This makes the village difficult to access by both the locals and visitors. The locals, most of whom are subsistent farmers, move out to work on their farmlands, bringing other activities to the lowest ebb all through the rains.
