A Fresh Hope
March 30, 2023

Thanks to Transformational Community Development (TCD), hope continues to grow, transform, and renew wherever it is found. For the past three months, we have hosted a youth meeting, with approximately 20–25 young people attending each month. We believe in the potential of the ones we work with and are striving to reveal people’s potential that even they may be unaware of. We have been talking with our youth group about the effects of hope on life. Finally, their despair fades away and their hope glitters.
This month, we had a nice tour in the Roma neighborhoods with the kids and youth. Roma youth are making peace with the fact that their neighborhoods will soon be demolished. They want to take nice pictures or even make a documentary about their neighborhood. They are also eager to get to know their families and cultures better in order to be ready to contribute to the transformation of the Roma people. They want to inspire other Roma kids and youth to have hope for the future. The thick crust of despair is breaking, and the Roma youth have begun to shine with fresh hope.
Thank you!
