Champions Plant Model Gardens

North Thailand TCD Expansion

At the end of July, we partnered with a local organisation to hold a focussed agriculture training for champions from four villages in Northern Thailand. Our champions returned home equipped with new knowledge, seeds, and other farming materials needed to implement their training and share their knowledge with others. New Plough, New Seed

Jatapara Village, India

Last month we sowed good quality maize seed, hoping to get better yields. Usually people keep maize seed left over from the previous year of cultivation; this is the traditional way. Most of the time these stocks ended up destroyed due to a lack of care. This time we bought and sowed seeds from the seed storehouse provided by the government to see what the difference will be from the previous harvest.
