Despite higher than normal temperatures and recent fires in Armenia, we are preparing for the Transformational Community Development (TCD) training this month. Thankfully, now it’s nice and cool in Spitak and we enjoy the breezes from the nearby mountains!

After the Transformational Community Development (TCD) training in May, we kept receiving calls from the participants who wanted to meet and discuss some projects. We had several very important meetings with the TCD participants. Currently, we are working on forming committees in the areas of education, women’s group, and a chicken project.

Children’s Camp and Chickens!

In this month, our new members have spent time discovering, making connections, getting introduced to the programme, and introducing the House of Esther (HoE) to people. They took some local community leaders to visit the HoE, as they want to have good connections and network, which will help later in the future projects.

Positioned as a Training Center

It’s winter at the House of Esther (HoE) and since October, there have been a few days of snow, wind, and cold temperatures. We gathered firewood and branches to burn in the recently installed wood stove. We also worked to insulate all visible pipes, water tanks, and outside faucets. The greenhouse plantings were prepared for winter.
