Art Exhibit Contributes to Peace

Garden of Peace and Hope, Afghanistan

As spring, the season of beauty is here, we look for beautiful days ahead with great anticipation!  GHNI’s Garden of Peace and Hope had an exhibition that ended in March. It was great to view the 67 exquisite paintings of three female artists! More than 100 people visited the exhibition.

The Director of the Women’s Ministry spoke and shared about the value of art and its role in bringing peace to Afghanistan.  She said, “In recent years, foreign NGOs have helped and empowered our youth and developed them in different sectors, especially women.” She also acknowledged the Garden of Peace and Hope as a great place for artists to exhibit their work.

Thank you!
