Artists Grow from Garden Leadership!

Garden of Peace & Hope, Afghanistan

Despite COVID-19 restrictions and limitations to our activities at the Garden of Peace & Hope, we started the art course in the west of Kabul. More than 20 students are involved in the class. Recently, I didn't have an exhibition due to the security threat and the ministry's concern. However, I'm working with artists, especially those we have helped through exhibits, introducing them to different courses and places to display their artwork.

As winter arrived here in Kabul, it snowed. Having exhibitions is a bit difficult, unlike in previous months. I had planned to have an exhibit, but the ministry didn't allow it because of security issues. We protected the fountains and pools with plastic coverings to be safe from freezing weather.

Thank you!
