Better Health and Healthy Crops

*Q Village, Afghanistan

Clean drinking water and health education are improving the quality of life in Q Village.

For the coming months, I have planned to give health and Birth Life Saving Skills (BLiSS) lessons to the villagers. Also, very soon, I would like to have distribute or sell solar cookers.
GHNI extended the pipe to the vineyard and now they have enough water to grow fruits and vegetables that they could sell in the local market to earn income. They also have clean and healthy drinking water.
We are planning to start additional health lessons for the villagers. The women who had such lessons before now have knowledge of how to have better health for themselves, their children, and families.

One of the keys to implementing this plan and expanding TCD to a village nearby is hiring a new TCD worker, who speaks the same dialect as the people from Q village.

Where There is Water, There is Life

*Valley of Ali, Afghanistan

The Poplar Tree project in Afghanistan is going extremely well.  There is plenty of water this year.  Watch this short video that Regional Field Leader Jeff Latsa shot last month when he visited the main grove. As always, thank you for your support and commitment.
