Crossing the Road Safely

*Maat  has three children. She has grown up learning to never say “no”, even after she got married and had children. The situation worsened. She could never say “no” to anyone asking anything of her, but after she heard the lesson, she was eager to change herself and establish boundaries. It's been a month since she started working on changing herself. She shared with me that she lost some of her relationships because of her boundaries, but she's happy that she's able to say “no” when she doesn't want to do something. She's still struggling but happy at the same time.

"I feel good; I can cross the road alone." This is what *Aka shared with us this week. He said that his neighbour was hit by a car while crossing the road, but he learnt through the lesson about looking right and left before crossing the road and to never run while crossing the road. If he goes out at night, he should wear light-colored clothes, never play in the streets, and walk on the sidewalk. He continued and said that now he knows how to cross the road safely.

Thank you!
