New Farming Techniques Open Doors

Sindh Province, Pakistan

 

Recently Malik* escaped the clutches of his landlord and has moved into the training centre of a GHNI partner. He has been working hard in the fields that Omar* planted with 78 naseberry plants where he also planted fodder for livestock. He is learning how to make compost and, as a result, decreasing the expenses of expensive fertilisers. Malik is using the compost on the fodder and naseberry fields.

Women’s Groups Eagerly Learn

In this first quarter of this year, we have carried out many activities among the Women’s Groups and the Children’s Groups of this village. I am very excited to explain about it. The leaders and villagers are very happy and actively involved in Transformational Community Development (TCD). We know that this village is behind in many aspects, but now because of the TCD initiative the community is moving slowly on the path of development.
