Empowered Women Helping Others

Sindh Province, Pakistan

Agriculture constitutes the largest sector of our economy in Sindh Province. The majority of the population is directly or indirectly dependent on this sector, so we are uplifting the community by helping them to provide the farming project at OM Land.

Farmers lives have developed since they are part of our Transformational Community Development (TCD)  farming project. Their children are going to school, they have their own cattle, and they are part of self-sustainable projects.

Sewing Centre

Women are empowered and many more will be empowered in the future. Our TCD partners are helping the women to develop their sewing skills and to help others do the same, which has benefitted their families and the community.

Many women have even started their own small businesses after completing the stitching course and are helping their families with this small income. Since we have started the embroidery work at our training centre we have gotten more women showing interest in our TCD classes.

Computer Centre

Through the computer technology centre, we are equipping the youth for their better future and many students who have already completed the training are utilising their training in their jobs. Some even run their own coaching centres.

We are planning to launch new computer hardware courses in the coming months, which will help the local community to improve their progress.

Thank you!
