English and Hygiene Classes Benefit Attendees

Women’s Empowerment Centre, Afghanistan

Recently I visited the Women’s Empowerment Centre (WEC2) in West Bamyan. The hygiene and English classes are going well, and the students started a new English book called Speak Now 4. Due to their school schedule, we are teaching English classes two times a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, six days a week.

The women attend their hygiene class every afternoon for one hour and a half. We distributed notebooks, pens, soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes for each of the participants, and the women and students were so grateful.

Because we will have to submit our first six months reports for 2020, our government partners also visited both WECs.
