Equipping the Youth for a Better Future

Sindh Province, Pakistan

Computer Centre

Through the Computer Centre, we are equipping the youth for a better future. Many students have already completed training, some are doing their job, and some have their own coaching centres.

*Ramesh is a government employee and got his job last year. He works in a data entry position. Ramesh was part of our computer academy, recently. After completing his training, he applied for and got this government job. On asking, Ramesh said, “It was such privilege for me to be part of the computer academy. I got where I am now, all because of the computer academy where I learned all about computer technology. I am really thankful for this wonderful place where many are transformed.”

Sewing Centre

Women are empowered and many more will be empowered in future. We are helping develop the women to develop others. Many women are already helping and uplifting their families after learning how to stitch.

Girls are now more interested as they are learning different varieties of stitching and embroidery. Many of them are helping their families by earning small incomes.

*Maria belongs to the local community and has been part of our sewing centre. Maria told us that she was always passionate to help her family financially, but there were a lot of obstacles. She was not allowed to leave her home, but she got the opportunity to be part of the sewing centre. After completing her training, Maria started stitching clothes at her home, and later learned about embroidery. Now she is a great help to her family.

Agriculture constitutes the largest sector of our economy. Most of the population are directly or indirectly dependent on this sector. We are uplifting the community by helping them to provide the farming project at OM Land. We are also planning to start fish farming on OM Land. This will provide resources for many people.

Farmers are working to get more natural fertiliser. Recently, they ploughed the land, and are now putting down more seed and fodder. They are working hard and aim to get more. Their hard work and freedom help them to grow.

Thank you!
