Agricultural Training Benefits Families

Tuti Village, Ethiopia

There is a river that runs through Tuti Village. The water is slightly better than in the Borena area, and the majority of the villagers use it for drinking and irrigation.

The Transformational Community Development (TCD) group in Tuti has helped many of the villagers with agricultural methods. One is Jemila who participated in the TCD training. During the dry season, she can feed her family by harvesting from her field.
