Greetings from Binodpur. I am glad to share this quarterly update. It is my pleasure to work with GHNI to bring transformation in our community. 

Here in India the unlocking process is continuing. There are few things I am super excited to share. Our six Transformational Community Development (TCD) volunteers are going door to door and teaching lessons on hand hygiene, malaria, diarrhea, etc. So far, they have visited 700 families. Those six volunteers built six TCD groups in their villages. We did a vision casting programme and formed TCD committees. Work on the tube well installation should also be completed within the month.

The school's hand-pump is not working.  We need more hand-pumps for village development. Villagers are doing well but we still need to arrange an awareness programme on balanced diets. Farmers returned the money borrowed from me to buy seed. They turned some profits but still require loans for the next cultivation. People are going out to get jobs.

Fewer students have dropped out and teachers are becoming more sincere. But we need to have a women’s education course for the housewives. Villagers are taking initiatives to keep the village clean and planting kitchen gardens and flower gardens.
