Farming Within Their Strengths

Dhoker Jhara Village, India

This month, we had an opportunity to meet with our Regional Field Leader, Sushil. We decided to work in a specific manner in order to get a better picture of our success or failure. We now have better steps to initiate. Deciding this, we started working toward deadlines for each of our targeted work areas.

Our new approach will be to start working in animal husbandry and agriculture separately and according to each farmer’s strengths. Once again, we gave villagers the lessons on health and hygiene, and then on income generation through animal husbandry and agriculture. We decided to take training on cultivation by the government officials from the agriculture university next month. Next Sunday, we are going to meet to decide on a date for getting goat farming training.
