Finishing Touches Added to New School

*Sheldon Village, Afghanistan

The school in Sheldon Village will be completed soon. We just came back from an inspection a few days ago, and fortunately I saw that many things have been done. Windows, doors, and glass have been installed, and the company brought a well machine to dig a well just in front of the school.

“The teachers and village elders are very happy to see that their new school is in the final stages. We thank you and GHNI for helping us build a school in this remote part of the district,” said **Samir, the senior teacher.

**Rashid, a 16-year-old boy, comes down every day from his muddy house and goes to school.

“We gather in a place that is for animals - NOT for human beings. We thank you for our NEW school that you built with us,” said Rashid.

Thank you,

The GHNI-Afghanistan Team
