Garden of Peace and Hope, Afghanistan
The Garden of Peace and Hope looks green and fresh this season. We did not have an exhibition this month due to the COVID-19 spike. It was recently announced that universities, schools, and other institutional centres would be functioning at limited capacity or closed in the coming months. A quarantine was extended for two weeks. Nevertheless, this is a particularly good time of the year weatherwise, and many people are visiting the garden.
Unfortunately, the recent attack on the girl’s school in Kabul was a tragedy that saddened parents and students throughout the country. We, along with friends and volunteers, have been helping the wounded at hospitals. GHNI has been engaged in caring for all the injured girls, and this has been a great help to them and their families.
Thank you!
