Holy Land Garden
Expansion of the Project
Recently, we were made aware of a new location/community that is interested in agricultural training. We welcomed the idea and interest, and we hope to meet with the community and work out a strategy for the future. There is plenty of space at this location to set up community gardens and use those gardens to help the needy in the area, as well as do some agricultural training with interested individuals. The community would also benefit from the produce grown in the gardens. It’s truly a win-win situation. All the details need to be worked out and, as those are finalised, we’ll share the information in future monthly updates.
Distribution Continues
At our current location, we continue to raise and distribute produce from the gardens. Like many countries worldwide, COVID-19 has created hardship and unemployment. Organisations trying to help those in need find themselves with an ever-increasing list of people and depleted resources. We are grateful to be involved in helping these organisations. The gardens should stay in a productive state for another couple of months, maybe longer depending on the summer heat.
Thank you!
