Garden of Peace & Hope, Afghanistan
In this season, the Garden of Peace and Hope is thriving with beautiful roses blooming. Because of restrictions from the government, the Garden and the National Gallery are closed to exhibitions. But it is open for visitors to enjoy the Garden of Peace. We had an exhibit scheduled last month with approval from the ministry, but due to safety issues, the government canceled it.
We will have other exhibitions in the future and will coordinate with our partners. Many artists, whom we have worked with in the past, are encouraged and excited to have a future exhibition in the Garden. Still, we're working on how to help the young artists to sell their works and help them become self-sustainable.
Thank you!
