Healing Lives in the Kitchen

House of Esther, Armenia

Moving along steadily, the work at the House of Esther continues. Like in most cultures, the kitchen is the heart of the home. In Middle Eastern and Armenian cultures, this is especially true. Having a kitchen that people feel comfortable in to cook and socialize is extremely important. This is even truer for these women who have witnessed, experienced, and been traumatized by so much suffering. Renovating the kitchen at the House of Esther wasn’t just an option, it was a necessity to expedite the healing process for these women. Thank you for helping to bring a new kitchen as well as healing to these families.
