International Children’s Day

Garden of Peace & Hope, Afghanistan

Intro: The artwork reflected a hopeful and peaceful message for the people.

Another great exhibition by the Garden of Peace and Hope took place this summer. International Children’s Day was celebrated in the lush, green garden and campus. In order to celebrate, I scheduled a drawing exhibition that displayed the work of 12 students. These young children from grades 4-6 have done amazing and inspirational work. More than 200 visitors included girls, boys, women, men, officials, foreigners, and photographers.

The artwork reflected a hopeful and peaceful message for the people. “The Garden of Peace and Hope is a place that encourages the new generation of Afghanistan. In this peaceful and green garden, we will enjoy peace and help each other,” one visitor said. It was really wonderful, especially for school children to be encouraged and motivated to visit the Garden of Peace and Hope for more exhibitions and events.

Thank you!
