Learning Honesty

Berenike shared with us that her friend lied to her, denying taking her pen, so Berenike also took her friend's pen behind her back. When the friend asked about the pen, Berenike said that she didn't know where it was.

After going home, Berenike remembered a lesson that she heard about not lying and telling the truth. So, she told her mother about the whole story, and her mother told her to give the pen back to her friend and to apologise for lying.

The next day at school, Berenike did exactly what her mother told her to do. Her friend also apologised and gave Berenike her pen back. Berenike was very happy that she restored her friendship and also learnt not to lie.

Women of Ezbit el Nakhl

Chione is a mother of four children. One time, we were giving a lesson about laziness and this lady shared with us that she struggles with laziness and slackness in her life. It's been 10 days of not waking up in the morning to take her son to the nursery because she's lazy.

After hearing the lesson about the negatives of laziness and how to change that, she started to energise herself to do more housework that had piled up. When she arranged her time wisely, she felt more active and energetic, and that also affected her family members because laziness is contagious and being active and energetic is, too.

Thank you!
