Minister of Culture Praises the Garden

Garden of Peace and Hope, Afghanistan

As the coronavirus spreads all around the country, the city has been in lockdown for several months. The Garden of Peace and Hope looks beautiful throughout this challenging time. Unfortunately, we cannot host any exhibitions during these restrictions. Yet I continue to encourage artists to motivate them for the next opportunity when we can once again display their works.

The new Minister of Culture and Information visited the Garden last week. He appreciated its beauty and how it serves as a place of inspiration and serenity. During this month, the gardener worked very hard to clean all the trees and to care for the grass. The gallery is locked by the government due to the coronavirus, preventing visitors, exhibits, and other related activities.

We hope the virus will diminish as soon as possible so that we can get back to our normal situation and continue our work. Thank you for your continued sponsorship during the pandemic.

Thank you!
