I am fortunate to have been able to bring our Transformational Community Development (TCD) work in this pandemic time. I feel proud to be a TCD worker and have a good chance to help community people by sharing the important TCD lessons which bring transformation in the community. Because of our lessons, people in the village have learnt many ideas and resources to be self-sustainable, like micro shops, domestic animal keeping, poultry farming.

Though the life of the villagers is being affected by the shutdown in our country and in my village because of the coronavirus, we have been able to carry out some field activities. The community members have started microbusinesses in order to be self-sufficient and people are learning about sanitation and how to stay healthy.

This season has been difficult due to the coronavirus, yet we are in the field as much as possible to save lives. We are working hard and encouraging people through the Transformational Community Development (TCD) movement.

We have continued our Transformational Community Development (TCD) activities in the community throughout the COVID-19 crisis. We are continuing to do the following:

This month I couldn’t visit many places because of the lockdown.  However, I visited families when I could. 

Our local Transformational Community Development (TCD) team played a vital role in spreading the news about coronavirus prevention in RT Village. I have also encouraged people to be safe, and wherever I meet people I share our TCD lessons with them.

In April, our most important task has been awareness education on the coronavirus. We have covered many topics related to COVID-19. We started by meeting with members of the women’s group in DG Village.
