Garden of Peace & Hope, Afghanistan
In January, the Garden of Peace and Hope was covered with beautiful snow. We didn’t host an exhibition for these winter months, so I covered the pools with plastic sheets to protect our plants in this freezing weather. I had planned an exhibition for a day in February, but due to snow and cold it didn’t happen. Also, the gardener is going to cut back the branches of big trees shadowed over the flowers. I think this is the good time for it. There are two big trees that cast big shadows over flowers and we had already cut back some of the branches, but some of them still block too much sun from the flowers.
