Raising Awareness Against Violence to Women

Garden of Peace & Hope, Afghanistan

Yesterday, I held another exhibition for art paintings and more than 40 pieces were displayed for visitors. Last week was the week of “Stop Violence Against Women,” and the art exhibition’s name was related to this. The art featured love and peace for women. It was a great exhibition with live music. All paintings illustrated aspects of violence toward women and the desire for peace and a safe life for them. We had artwork from five artists, and many people visited the exhibition, including some officials and government ministers.

Additionally, the gallery building reopened after they decorated their place. Some of the staff moved to the gallery and some of them are still in our rooms. I hope the remaining staff members are able to move out of our space soon.
