Story from Kids: -

Love overcomes Quarrel

*Akila, a 12-year-old girl, shared during the lesson that the previous week, we celebrated Valentine’s Day, and she wants to love all people.

She crafted a flower and gave it to her teacher in school and told her that she loves her even though she was upset with her because the teacher hit her as a punishment. She was upset because she was punished even though she did nothing. Her friends were the ones talking during class not her, so she was angry at her friends and her teacher.

After she learned to love all people, she went and gave the flower to the teacher. The teacher was very happy and they’re on good terms now. She also went back to her friends.

First Aid Kit for Suffocation

*Kamilah attended the lesson and learned how to aid any suffocating person. She shared that she was sitting with her family one day eating lunch when her 12-year-old son started coughing hard. She got scared and started crying and shouting for her neighbors loudly, but in a moment, she remembered the lesson. The next moment she was holding her son and applying what she had learned.

The boy soon got better and stopped coughing. She was very happy that she learned something and could help her son with what she had learned. She also thanked us for teaching them things that they can’t learn anywhere else.

Thank you!
