Showcasing Young Female Artists

Garden of Peace & Hope, Afghanistan

Here, in the Garden of Peace and Hope, things are going well. Our September exhibition was of works by three girls who started drawing in recent years. They are very optimistic that the Garden will exhibit their works in front of many people to help them be known.

I’m still working to extend GHNI’s Memorandum of Understanding (contract agreement) with the Ministry of Arts & Culture.  We are fixing the pump. I have found three models in Kabul, but they are big and do not fit the fountains. As I shared before, I talked to a man who brings pumps from Pakistan, and he told me that he will bring the same pump in the picture I gave him. Hopefully it’s going to be fixed in a few days.
