Spreading Hygiene Practices

*DG Village, Nepal

DG Village is becoming a model village for this area, because people are extremely astonished to see the changing lifestyle of the community. Women are in good attendance at the education class and are learning Transformational Community Development (TCD) lessons, too. Now they are conscious of health and hygiene. They realized that only education can change their lives and build motivation for a new destiny.

**Jabbar is one energetic and helpful man in this village who is a committee member. He is not an educated person, but he understands how the toilet is very important in saving him and his family from various diseases. Earlier, he didn't have a toilet in his house. Now Jabbar shares the importance of toilets and encourages his neighbors and relatives to use toilets to keep clean. His daughter and son are attending school regularly, and his wife works in the field and also looks after their goats and cow. These are helpful in maintaining his family.
