Talk of the Town

*UV Village, Sri Lanka
We spoke to the owners of the house to thank them for permitting us to use their house as a tutoring classroom. We found out that the lower grade children were occupying a table and chairs in the dining area, which inconvenienced the owners. I said we would correct this by buying three sets of tables and benches, so that the lower grades can meet in the outside verandah area. The owners were happy with my suggestion. We have already placed the order, and the items will be delivered by the end of the month.
We were also informed by the tutors that more children want to join the class. We reminded them to not exceed the now available seating capacity.
Our tutoring class is becoming the talk of the village, as the children who come to the tutoring class earn high marks in their respective school examinations.
