TCD Spreads from Kharibari to Damdim

Kharibari Village, India

This summer, I visited Mangal Bodra of Mercy Fellowship of Damdim. He attended our Transformational Community Development (TCD) training. He was very motivated by the training and wants to do TCD in his community. During the training, I had told him about mushroom farming and he was very interested. I advised him on how to make a low-cost mushroom hut and gave him other helpful information. He said that he wants to have two days of full-fledged mushroom farming for his people after the sowing season is over.

Next, I had the opportunity to attend the quarterly team meeting at Dumka, where I also got to visit some villages such as Ps Manu’s Village where TCD is going on. After returning from Dumka, I found that there was heavy rainfall throughout north Bengal, which made it difficult to get around the field. Moreover, Khairbari Villagers are extremely busy in sowing seed, as are the people of Damdim Cluster.  Apart from this, there were no major activities.

Thank you,
