A Thriving Family Business
Posted August 11, 2018
In our recent visit to Um Battma Village, we sat down with a family and played with their children as well as their goats. It was a fun time for the children. We also talked with Um Salim and Abu Salim about the change that happened in the family, and how they are so happy. They showed us their olive trees, as well as their vine. The family gets their dairy products from the goats, grapes from the vine, and their oil and olives from the olive trees. They are proud of this project and of their own success in generating some income. Now they are doing something which is beneficial for the whole family.
One of the goats is pregnant. The family is thinking about how they can expand the place for more goats for the coming days.
