Young Artists Inspire Hope for Afghanistan

Garden of Peace & Hope, Afghanistan

Recently, a wonderful exhibition in the Garden of Peace and Hope was held. It included a painting exhibition, live music, and theatre. Some officials visited the exhibition that special day. One of the artists played guitar on stage and she amazed the audience with her skillful interpretation. There were lots of visitors from different organisations, especially from the government’s Ministry of Culture.

All paintings were from four artists who include both girls and boys who painted hopeful pictures for Afghanistan. One of them said that she would work to inspire others through her art to learn to create beauty.

The garden still looks very green and lush. This month, I will remove the fountains from inside the pools because of cold weather. Yet this autumn, flowers are blooming everyday with beautiful shades of yellow.

Thank you!
