Help us raise $200 for the INDIA STT Program!
Our focus in West Bengal’s Dooars region is to implement the Transformational Community Development (TCD) program to address the overall local perception. TCD will build a perpetual sustainable environment to help improve local potable drinking water and infrastructure like street lighting, environmental improvements, and educational opportunities. We also aim to improve relationships with the local tribal groups.
All potential GHNI development projects depend on resources and funding. These would include street light installation and tree plantings in the villages.

The people in underdeveloped villages, Chainpur, Ramantar and Manahari are challenged economically, socially, and politically. The Transformational Community Development (TCD) program addresses the overall local poverty perception. TCD builds a perpetual, sustainable environment to equip communities for severe climate changes, health and educational needs, opportunities for small business, and micro enterprises.
All potential GHNI development projects depend on resources and funding. These would include raising awareness about water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning. Helping the oppressed Chepang tribe with health issues. Building relationships with the communities. Educate on the growing problems with human trafficking. Continuing the microloan project to create income-generating opportunities and help improve education for women and children.
