Situated on the edge of the Sahara desert, *Duck Waro Village is very dry. The nomads and subsistent farmers in the region thirst for a dependable water supply. The families living here are stuck in a cycle of extreme poverty and are anxious for a better future for their children.

What began in early 2015 as a seed project, prompted villagers to aspire to implement a full TCD program in their community. The seed project involved the villagers plan to drill a water borehole for access to clean water for drinking, cooking, washing, and farming for their community.
Looking to villagers in Dogon Gada Village, Nigeria, those in Duck Waro see a model of transformation from extreme poverty to self-sustainability.
