Villagers Realise They Have Local Resources
September 1, 2022

We have been able to start Transformational Community Development (TCD) in some new villages. We started by going through the lessons on Taking Ownership. We ask the villagers lots of questions about the Self-Help Saving Groups, and other team activities so that they can understand about Ownership. We ask them to write down and list the local resources which they have in their village. After the meeting, a lady said, “There are a lot of things which we consider rubbish, but during today’s session I realised that these things are very important. We can use wood sticks to make the boundary of our property. Through these small things, we can make a lot of things by ourselves. I discovered new thoughts and ideas to live a healthy life.”
Thank you!
